Fabric Cut & Sew Dolls

Bought: $0.00 Sold: $19.99 Fees: $2.59 Profit: $17.40

I picked up a bag of fabric remnants for my mom to use in her quilting, but I kept these two pieces which are actually fabric pieces meant to be cut and sewn and stuffed to form stuffed animals. Not a terrible price for something that was just a bonus. The oddest thing about this sale is that it sold to someone in the same small town in Oklahoma that the buyer of the stickers I sold today lives in. I checked their addresses and they live just 3 kilometers apart! What are the chances?

Tron Legacy Hoodie

Sold: $44.90 Fees: $5.96 Profit: $38.94

This is a limited edition hoodie released by Hurley and Nike in partnership with Disney for the release of Tron Legacy in 2010. This shirt is meant to mimic the type of armour they wear in the movie. This actually came out of the storage locker I bought in Brockville. It was one of the few pieces of clothing that didn't smell like smoke and thankfully it was a desirable piece.

Raw Vol 2 Number 1 Comix

Sold: $19.99 Fees: $3.42 Profit: $16.57

This is a trade paperback comic of an underground comic series. This was part of the comic lot I overpaid for. I am still slowly making back my investment.

Pink Flamingo Lapel Pin

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

I wasn't sure this would sell - it's just a pin of a flamingo, but I guess I was wrong. This was from the lot I picked up at auction in Kingston and with this sale I have recovered my investment (after selling 18 of about 175 pins), so now I'll start making a profit.

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $29.99 Fees: $4.33 Profit: $21.15

I found these three unopened packs of Toy Story pogs at VV. I figured someone may want them for the collector aspect since Pogs themselves are not that valuable. It took two years but they finally sold.

This is a Canadian Price Variant - meaning it has a price on it meant for sale in Canada, which differs from the American price. I listed this accidentally for $1.99 instead of $9.99 and before I could get back in and change it someone bought it. They likely had a notification on for Canadian Price Variants. Oh well, someone got a good deal!

Action Comics #1

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.55 Profit: $8.44

This is Action Comics #1! Unfortunately just a reprint from 1988. This is actually the second time I've sold a reprint of Action Comics #1.

Department 56 Coca-Cola Truck

Sold: $24.99 Fees: $4.32 Profit: $25.67

This came from my personal collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia. It is a model Coca-Cola truck for a Christmas village. I'm slowly selling off my collection, which is mostly in storage, in order to better use the money.

Superstructs Castle

Bought: $6.77 Sold: $24.99 Fees: $4.18 Profit: $14.04
Chris's 10% Commission: $1.40

This is a very large toy set that Chris found. I priced it low hoping someone would want it, but it took almost three years to sell. Shipping to the US was over $30, so I guess the buyer really wanted it. I'm just glad this finally sold and is out of storage.

Canada's Wonderland Souvenirs

Bought: $2.80 Sold: $24.97 Fees: $3.93 Profit: $18.24

Sold these three sets of Wonderland souvenirs - two sets of plastic cups (one is the Jetsons and one is the Flintstones) and a button. The two sets of cups came from the large lot of McDonald souvenir items I picked up at VV, which I've already recouped so that is pure profit. The button came from a bag of buttons, and the sale paid for the whole bag.

Tell It To the Marines #5

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.55 Profit: $8.44

Rider Tarot Deck

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $24.99 Fees: $4.14 Profit: $16.34

This is one of the most popular tarot deck, but it is often difficult to tell how old it is without opening it. Older ones are worth more. This one was a relatively recent edition so not worth as much, but I wasn't sure until I bought it. Still not a terrible return.

Birks Canada Explorers Lapel Pin
