This is a D&D box set that Chris picked up at VV, and is apparently rather desirable. Not all old D&D stuff sells, but when it does it can bring a nice price.

July 3rd - Wizard Magazine Postermania 2000
Sold for: $24.99 Fees: $5.84

Chris recently moved the remainder of the comics from this shared storage locker purchase to my storage locker for storage, and I noticed that some of the comics were no longer listed on eBay. I have no idea when the listings were taken down or why - likely a bug with eBay. So a few weeks ago I relisted the ones I noticed were missing - I still need to do an inventory to see if others are no longer listed. This was one of the newly re-listed items, and it sold in a couple weeks! It is a special edition of Wizard magazine from 2000 containing 48 comic themed posters.

July 6th - The Punisher Promo Poster
Sold for: $4.99 Fees: $0.82

This is a small promo poster of The Punisher. It was another one of the items that I had to rephotograph and relist since the original listing was taken down at some point. I have no idea how long the listing didn't exist for, but it sold within 2 weeks of me re-posting it.

July 13th - Witchblade #36 and Darkness #28

Sold for: $9.99 Fees: $1.33

These are two comics from the 90's that had a story crossover, and these variant covers were made that formed a linking picture. Sadly neither of these comics are all that popular, but someone finally bought them!

July 16th - PITT Promo Poster
Sold for: $4.99 Fees: $0.82

This is a small promo poster for the series PITT from 1996. This was another one of the items that at some point the listing was taken down, so I had to relist it a few weeks ago. Glad I noticed that some listings were missing, or these last few sales would never have happened.

July 19 - Two Issues of Warlands
Sold for: $4.99 Fees: $0.82

Sold this lot of 2 comics! Only took 2 years...

July 20th - Wizard Magazine Postermania 1998
Sold for: $19.99 Fees: $2.06

This is another one of the items that at some point the listing got removed. I listed this again, after I noticed the error, a few weeks ago and it didn't take long to sell.

2 Vintage TTC Tickets

Number of items sold overall: 15

Another of the PS2 games sold.

July 10th - Ratchet and & Clank Up Your Arsenal

July 19th - Three Bar Stools
Sold for: $20.00 Fees: $0.00

These three bar stools were in the unit. Managed to sell these locally on FB Marketplace. Was asking for $40, but after a month of being listed I got the first offer of $20 and took it to get them out of my garage.

July 24th - PlayStation 2 Ratchet Deadlocked
Sold for: $4.99 Fees: $0.82

Another PS2 game sold. I still haven't had time to post much else from this locker aside from these games, so I'm glad that they are at least selling.

Sold for: $9.99 Fees: $1.24

This is another PS2 game.

1953 Canadian Coronation Coin Pendant

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.35 Profit: $4.64

This came from the lot of Royalty trinkets I picked up at the Cornwall auction a couple years ago. This is a 1953 Canadian Coronation coin that someone put a hole in to hang as a pendant. I wasn't sure if anyone would want, this but it turns out someone did.

G.I. Joe #109

Sold: $2.99 Fees: $0.66 Profit: $2.33

This is a GI Joe comic. I only got a couple of these in the auction. Always happy to be moving comics!

Young Love #95 DC Romance Comic

Bought: $0.84 Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.24 Profit: $7.91

This is one of the romance comics I picked up at VV last year. They were all in pretty rough shape, but they are hard to find so even damaged ones can sell. This is a pretty good price for a beat up comic.

Hot Stuff Sizzlers #26

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.82 Profit: $4.17

This is a comic from the Kemptville auction lot. It is clearly missing half the cover and has some wear, but it is from 1966 and a collectible series. I'm happy with $5. Most people would probably have seen the ripped cover and assumed it was worthless.

The Simpsons Comics #1-5

Sold: $49.99 Fees: $5.12 Profit: $44.87

The first five issues of The Simpsons comics from the early 1990's. Not a bad price at all!

Canada 150 Lapel Pin

Bought: $0.00 Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

I believe this is my last Canada 150 related item, and interesting to see that it sold almost 8 months after Canada 150 ended. It's off to Toronto.

The Silver Treasure Hunt Comic

Sold: $14.99 Fees: $1.65 Profit: $13.34

This is another comic from the Kemptville auction lot. This is an odd comic. It was published in 1955 by The Canadian Fishing Company Limited to promote their canned tuna, but it is a full-length comic. It is an odd promotional item for one of the oddest things - tuna - and it is Canadian. I was not able to find much about this online, but I figured someone may eventually want it. It sold in under a week to someone in Texas. It was in really rough shape - it was badly water damaged - so I'm happy with the price I got for it. I'm quite curious why someone would want this though.

Commissioned Sale: Two Disney Pins

Huey Dewey and Louie Junior Woodchucks #5

Current profit off the comic auction: $363.67

Monday, July 23, 2018

Flash Comics #71

Sold: $75.00 Fees: $8.99 Profit: $66.01

This comic came from the lot I picked up in Kemptville a few weeks ago. I paid $55 for the entire lot, so this come alone paid for all of and more. This is a really old Flash comic, from 1946! It was in decent shape for its age, especially considering it was not stored in a bag and board. That being said, there was a page that had been cut out. Had the page not been cut out, this comic would likely have been worth a few hundred. Comics from this age are hard to price as they don't come along often. I first listed it for an auction at $200, but despite a number of watchers I got no bids. I relisted it for $100 and again got a number of watchers, but again no bids. I decided to just relist as a Buy It Now for $75, and it sold within a few hours. I'm happy with the price, and the rest of the comics will be pure profit!

74 Issues of Canadian Chess Chat Magazine

Sold: $100.00 Fees: $9.57 Profit: $90.43

This lot of chess magazines from the 1970's came out of the magazine lot I purchased at auction for $3. I've now sold all the magazines from that lot, and I've profited $285 from that lot alone. I thought that these would sit even longer considering how obscure these are, but I'm happy they sold in under a month and for a great price.

X-Force #22

Sold: $1.99 Fees: $0.93 Profit: $1.06

The buyer who bought the Hulk #1 issue also bought this. Love when people more than one issue.

Current profit off the comic auction: $359.50

Pep Comics #215

Sold: $1.99 Fees: $0.73 Profit: $1.26

I think this was the only Archie comic in the entire 4,00 comic lot, which I'm glad about since Archie really does not sell. I'm a bit surprised this one sold, but I'm glad it did. This is an old issue, from 1968.

Current profit off the comic auction: $358.44

4 Comics

Sold: $10.98 Fees: $0.57 Profit: $10.41

Sold these four issues to the same buyer.

Current profit off the comic auction: $357.18
