Commissioned Sale: Disney Pins

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $3.67 Profit: $6.32
My 30% Commission: $1.90

This is a Disney pin set given to employees in 2000. I was surprised how little this sells for.

Invincible #107

Sold: $1.49 Fees: $0.67 Profit: $0.82

A comic from the LetGo lot I picked up a few months ago. Not a huge sale, but a sale is a sale.

Star Wars X-Wing Rogue Squadron 1/2

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $1.04 Profit: $3.95

Another Star Wars comic sold, this one is a 1/2 issue with a certificate of authenticity.

Current profit off the wedding comic auction: $4,318.86

Time Magazine June 13 1988

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $1.04 Profit: $3.95

I would never buy a Time magazine to sell, they just aren't worth it, but this was part of a large lot magazines I got at an auction, so no reason not to sell it.

Pokemon Master Trainer

Sold: $109.99 Fees: $13.42 Profit: $96.57

This is always a great game to find. It's often not complete, thankfully this one was. I got this as part of a large lot of board games from an estate sale auction, and this game more than paid for the entire lot, so not too bad.

Air Canada Airbus Diecast Model

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $24.99 Fees: $3.90 Profit: $16.58

Found a number of these Herpa dietcast plane models at VV. This is the first one that has sold, and it is off to Honolulu. Not huge sellers, but they have collectors and they'll all move eventually.

Two Star Wars Comics

Sold: $11.48 Fees: $2.22 Profit: $9.26

One of the lots from the wedding comic auction was all Star Wars comics, but I only started listing them yesterday. I listed 10 of them yesterday and these two already sold. Not a bad start. Now to just get the other 100 or so listed.

Current profit off the wedding comic auction: $4,314.91

Stuff For Men Magazine #88 March 2007

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $1.04 Profit: $3.95

This is another of the adult magazines that came from the large lot of these magazines I purchased last year. This lot may be my best ROI, considering I spent $5 and have made over $210 on the lot to date with still a number of magazines left to sell.

Archie Christmas Stocking #10

Sold: $19.99 Fees: $2.59 Profit: $17.40

This is an Archie comic from 1961 and features the first appearance of Jingles, who is apparently an elf who appears in the Christmas stories each year. Despite having no covers, and being in not great condition I still got $20 for it. Not bad at all.

Town of New Glasgow Lapel Pin

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

A lapel pin for a small town in Nova Scotia.

SWATCH Watch Take OFF GK114

Bought: $3.38 Sold: $30.00 Fees: $4.73 Profit: $21.89
Chris's 10% Commission: $2.19

This is a Swatch that I've had in my store since September 2016, so it took one month shy of 3 years to sell. It had some issues - the band was not originally, and the dial didn't turn the hands so you can't set the time. I had it listed for $50, but gladly took an offer of $30 to get it sold.

8 Russ Berrie & Co 12" Troll Dolls

Sold: $39.99 Fees: $6.41 Profit: $33.58

At an auction earlier this year I picked up a large lot of troll dolls. This lot was just all the large 12" dolls, and this lot alone more than paid for the entire lot.

Seattle Lapel Pin

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

This lapel pin came out of the lot I purchased at auction in Kingston. So far my investment of $125 has turned me a profit of $344, and I still have over 100 pins left to sell. This lot is really paying off.

Jurassic Park #1

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $1.04 Profit: $3.95

This is the first Jurassic Park comic, released in 1993. Not a bad price for a comic from the 90's.

Current profit off the wedding comic auction: $4,305.65

X-Force #23

Sold: $3.99 Fees: $0.93 Profit: $3.06

This is an earlier Deadpool appearance.

Dungeons and Dragons Basic Game

Bought: $3.94 Sold: $39.99 Fees: $5.94 Profit: $30.11
Chris's 10% Commission: $3.01

This is a basic D&D game. It wasn't complete, but pretty close to being so. Chris found this in VV back in January, so took 7 months to sell. D&D stuff usually sells, but can take time.

Accordion 3 Tier Fold Out Wood Sewing Box

Bought: $9.03 Sold: $60.00 Fees: $8.10 Profit: $42.87

I was aware that these according sewing boxes can sell quite well, but this is the first time I actually found one. Picked this up at VV, and had it sitting in my to-list pile for months. Once I finally got around to listing it it sold within a couple weeks. I took off the handle and legs to ship since it was far too large once packaged otherwise.

1997 Ford Mustang Catalog Pamphlet

Bought: $1.35 Sold: $1.99 Fees: $0.64 Profit: $0.00

I recently picked up a lot of 400-500 Hot Rod magazines locally for $100. I am still going through them and cataloging them, and haven't listed any yet. While going through them I came across this pamphlet for the 199 Ford Mustang, so I listed it and it sold. So the first sale from the lot, which helps pay down the investment.

Dead Pit VHS

Bought: $0.00 Sold: $40.00 Fees: $5.38 Profit: $34.62

I don't normally pick up VHS tapes, but this one caught my eye. The zombie on the cover is in 3D and emerges from the front of the box. Also his eyes are lights and light up when you press his hand (or originally did, the battery is now long since dead). It was interesting enough to look up, and I saw that it sold quite well. I listed it for $50, and had an offer immediately. We went back and forth and he finally accepted $40. It then took him 8 days to pay! Very frustrating, but at least he paid. Hopefully he doesn't try to return it or complain later on. The best part is that when I got home from the store I realized that the clerk forgot to charge me for this, so it ended up being free.

Super Viewer 3-D Souvenir from Mecca

Chris's 10% Commission: $2.12

This is a knock-off Viewmaster sold in a box as a souvenir from Mecca. It includes four reels of photos from Mecca. This came in a hanging baggie with something I actually wanted, this was just in the bag. Originally I was just going to throw it out, but I decided that I might as well try to sell it. It actually sold in under a week - not bad for something thrown in for free with something else I wanted.

This is a pewter candle base in a ocean theme. Made by Seagull Pewter, a Canadian East Coast company that has a loyal following.

This is a balsa wood model kit that was new in opened box. Don't come across a lot of balsa wood models, but this one had a great ROI.

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

This is a nice vintage pin that came from a lot of vintage pins I acquired recently at auction.

Sold: $40.00 Fees: $5.45 Profit: $34.55
