Doreen Virtue Past Life Oracle Cards

Bought: $0.00 Sold: $99.99 Fees: $12.00 Profit: $87.99
Chris's 10% Commission: $8.80

Chris found a large stack of Doreen Virtue oracle decks at VV earlier this year, and I've sold almost all of them now. I sold most of them in lots, only bothering to list the ones individually there were worth the effort, and this was one of them - this single deck sold for $100. Not too bad!

X-Force #18

Sold: $1.99 Fees: $0.73 Profit: $1.26

A still sealed copy of X-Force #18. I had four of these original, and am now down just to one left.

Current profit off the comic auction: $4,289.36

Chris's 10% Commission: $1.29

Chris found this, along with a handful of other Marvel pocket books, at VV, and while not huge sellers, they are desirable and it's still profit.

Commissioned Sale: Disney Pin

Sale Price: $4.49 Fees: $1.59 Profit: $2.90
My 30% Commission: $0.87

These Disney pin sales are slowing down, but it's likely due to the fact that my supply is running low.

Batman Adventures Mad Love CGC

Sold: $149.99 CGC Cost: $38.00 Fees: $17.71 Profit: $94.28

One of the comics from the wedding lot that I got graded and slabbed. This issue tells the origin of Harley Quinn. I had two copies of this comic, both ended up being graded at 9.2 by CGC. The last one sold when I was at a profit of about $2,200, which is a 50% return on my investment. This one sold just a few hundred short of being at a 100% return on my investment. Some good timing there, and I'm just $125 shy of making doubling my investment!

Current profit off the comic auction: $4,288.10

Italian Cathedral Postcard

Sold: $1.99 Fees: $0.21 Profit: $1.78

An Italian postcard from a cathedral.

11 Issues of DC's Showcase 94

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $2.73 Profit: $7.26

This is 11 issues of a 12-issue mini-series that DC ran with each issue highlighting one of the villains of the Batman universe. I was worried it would be hard to sell with one of the issues missing, but I'm glad I was wrong.

Neuschwanstein Castle Lapel Pin

Sold: $14.99 Fees: $1.86 Profit: $13.13

This is a souvenir pin from a Bavarian castle.

St John's Airport Postcard

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.03 Profit: $8.96

This is a vintage postcard of the interior of the St. John's airport. This single postcard paid for the half the lot I picked up recently of 100s of postcards, which is exactly why it makes it so hard for me not to buy these large lots of postcards when I can get them really cheap.

Gunsmoke #1

Sold: $39.99 Fees: $5.35 Profit: $34.64

This comic is from 1969 and in remarkable condition for its age, which is partly why I was able to get such a great price for this comic. I wish more comics sold for $40!

Current profit off the comic auction: $4,186.56

These are two short story magazines. Both are from the lot of 110 of these that I picked up at VV earlier this year. Both these are from May 1975. I wonder if that was maybe the buyer's birthday and he is buying a number of magazines from that month.

Lot of McDonald's Changeables

Bought: $15.74 Sold: $44.99 Fees: $5.87 Profit: $23.38
Chris's 10% Commission: $2.34

Chris found these at VV, and I made two listings - this one with all of the unique ones, and another listing with all the duplicates. These were a line of transformers-type Happy Meal toys that ran for a number of years in the late 1980's. All these food transformer into robots.

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $44.99 Fees: $5.97 Profit: $34.51
Chris's 10% Commission: $.345

This is a metal and wood model of a cruise ship. I've done well with cruise ship models before, so this was an easy pickup. I had someone make repeated low offers on this, but I was firm on the asking and it sold, so I'm glad I held fast.

Uncle Scrooge Comics

These are three short story magazines from the lot of 110 that I purchased at VV earlier this year. All sold to the same buyer, and made a nice profit on these ones.

Yukon Territory Fireweed Patch

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

This is being shipped to a high end clothing store on Broadway St in New York City. I wonder if it's just an employee there who wanted it, or if maybe it's going to be incorporated into a piece of clothing. Who knows!

Fabulous Fury Freak Brothers

Sold: $3.99 Fees: $0.93 Profit: $3.06

Another patch sold! This month has been a lot of $5 sales, so I'm just making my fortune $4.16 at a time...

A short story magazine from the 1970's that was part of the lot of 110 of these magazines that I purchased from VV back in March.

Bi-Provincial Smart Upgrader Lapel Pin

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

The Bi-Provincial Upgrader is apparently an oil refinery in Saskatchewan. Why they had a pin made is beyond me.

Ontario Trillium Patch

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $4.16

Another of the provincial flower patches sold. These are selling faster than I thought they would.

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $49.99 Fees: $6.39 Profit: $43.60
Chris's 10% Commission: $4.36

This is a very small scale model of a VW Transporter painted for The Who. This was sold in Germany to support a charity, so I have no idea how it ended up in Canada and in such good condition. It was purchased by someone in the UK, so this little truck is seeing the world.

Girl Guides Camp Woolsey Lapel Pin

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.34 Profit: $8.65

Laptop Charger

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $24.99 Fees: $4.24 Profit: $16.24

I found this laptop charger in very good condition at VV and it was too cheap to pass up. I don't usually see laptop chargers, but they are easy to store, and ship and are usually fast sellers. This one sold in just 2 months.

Mario Glasses Case

Bought: $2.25 Sold: $19.99 Fees: $3.00 Profit: $14.74

This is a glasses case that I picked up back in 2016. I can't believe this took so long to sell. It's a glasses case with a nice vintage Mario on it. I'm so glad it sold.
