This came from the large lot of Sony Walkman/Discmans that Chris found at VV earlier this year. I made back my investment pretty quickly, so this sale is pure profit.
At an estate auction late last year I acquired a large number of official photographs of Trudeau. As far as I could tell the estate owner was a former aide to the PM, and these were official photographs that would be given out to people who visited. These are high quality prints, and I have a number of different poses and sizes. This was the first one to sell, so nice to see them start moving.
This is something that I would not have bought 6 months ago. It is a headset for use with your computer, and while it is a good brand - Logitech - it is an older model. I couldn't find any comps online for it, and it wasn't cheap, but it had a nice carrying case and looked to be in great shape. I tested it and it worked well. Since so many people are working from home currently, headsets are a hot commodity. This sold in under a month, which is always great.
This is perhaps one of the oddest things I've sold. It came in the lot of ephemera that I purchased at auction a few years ago. It is a brochure that was released by the Canadian government in 1999 to warn homeowners about the dangers of the Y2K bug and what to do in order to ensure you were prepared. Even more oddly, it sold to someone in the US.
This game in a lot of roleplaying games I purchased at auction early last year. The box was in terrible shape, but the contents had never been used. A great price for a game in such rough shape.
At first I thought this was a vintage comforter, but it turns out it was sold in the early 2000's by Walmart. Nonetheless, it was no longer available and I figured some die-hard Snoopy fan would want it. I sold it for twice what it originally sold for, which is not too bad. Never thought I'd be able to sell something that sold at Walmart on eBay for a significant markup.
