Lot of 115 Russian Lapel Pins

Sold: $39.99 Fees: $7.25 Profit: $32.74

One of the lots of pins I bought at auction last year had a number of Russian pins in them. I had no desire to try and sell them individually since there probably isn't too much demand for them in North America. I just lot-ed them up and sold for a price I was happy with.

Nutty Comics #7

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $2.35 Profit: $7.64

This comic was incomplete. It was missing the cover and the first/last 6 pages, but it was from 1947 and so still sold for $10! Not too bad for an incomplete comic.

Harry Potter MagiCreatures Match Card Game

Sold: $14.99 Fees: $3.94 Profit: $11.05

This was in a hanging baggie from VV with something else. I forget what it was, but it was the reason I bought the bag. This was just an extra, but decided I might as well sell it.

Lot of 5 Neurosmith MUSIC BLOCKS

Sold: $124.99 Fees: $17.22 Profit: $107.77

This was an interesting find. When I picked up that Elvis Music Box at the thrift, there was a bag of 10 of these cartridges taped to it being sold as one unit. I guess someone thought they went together. I didn't pay any attention to them in the store since I knew the box itself was a good investment. I realized, once I got home, that they had nothing to do with the music box at all. I couldn't when I looked up these cartridges how much they sell for. They are used in some out of production music toy for children with autism and apparently hard to come by. This was essentially just a free $100, and I still have two more lots to sell.

Benjamin Chee Chee Friends Wrist Watch

Bought: $5.64 Sold: $59.99 Fees: $8.33 Profit: $46.02
Chris's 10% Commission: $4.60

Chris found this somewhere, but he doesn't remember where. I couldn't find any comps, but Chee Chee is a pretty popular artist and I figured someone would pay a good penny for this watch.

Toronto Postcards

Sold: $19.99 Fees: $3.03 Profit: $16.96

Peanuts Airblown Inflatable Christmas Decoration

Bought: $16.94 Sold: $124.99 Fees: $16.70 Profit: $91.35
Chris's 10% Commission: $9.14

Chris picked this up last fall. It is a very large Christmas decoration, standing over 6' tall when inflated. When it didn't sell in the lead up to Christmas, I thought for sure I'd have to wait until next year to sell it, but I was wrong. It actually sold on Christmas day to someone in California. I guess they're getting ready for next year.

Creepy Crawlers Creature Creator Workshop

Bought: $4.06 Sold: $39.99 Fees: $5.71 Profit: $30.22
Chris's 10% Commission: $3.02

This is a toy from the 90's where you could make plastic bugs out of this gel material. Chris picked this up in 2017 and it has sat until now. It is quite a big box, so shipping was expensive, which is why I assume it took so long to sell.

Swatch Wrist Watch GN122 Photoshooting

Bought: $15.81 Sold: $39.99 Fees: $6.66 Profit: $17.52
Chris's 10% Commission: $1.75

Not all Swatches are valuable to resell, but it is often hard when at a thrift store to identify the watch and know whether it is worth it. Often I just tell Chris to pick it up and I take the risk. This is one of those cases. I normally wouldn't spend $15 to only make $40, but at least it sold and I still doubled my investment.

Pewter Candle Holder

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $2.43 Profit: $7.56

This is not something I'd pick up on my own to resell, but it was part of a lot of items that I got somewhere - not sure exactly where it came from now - so I figured I might as well sell it.

Two Vintage Pokemon Model Kits

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $29.00 Fees: $4.35 Profit: $20.14
Chris's 10% Commission: $2.01

These are two vintage Japanese Pokemon model kits. Chris picked these up back in 2017, and I had them listed for much higher, but I accepted an offer of $29 because I've had them for a while and I'm still making a profit on them.

Mint Green VTR Stereo Cassette Player

Sold: $49.99 Fees: $4.89 Profit: $45.10

This was in a random lot of stuff I got at auction. Despite this cassette player being made by some random company, it was new and had a great vintage look. It sold for a great price in only a few weeks ago.

Tyrell Jukemaster 100 MP3 CD Player

Bought: $27.10 Sold: $250.00 Fees: $24.26 Profit: $198.64

This was a great sale. This is a CD player and radio in the shape of a Jukebox. It originally came with a CD that if you used, you could play it using the buttons on the front like a real jukebox. Unfortunately the CD was missing, but it still sold for a great price. I paid $15 for it, but it was missing a power cable. I bought a generic one off of eBay for $10, which was a good investment.
