Pixel Chix Games

Bought: $13.53 Sold: $23.06 Fees: $3.23 Profit: $6.30

I picked up three of these Pixel Chix games at VV back in the fall, unfortunately only two of them worked, so I made less profit than I was expecting. I was hoping that these games would sell faster, and I had to lower the selling price for these to sell. These are games were you play with a little figure on the screen, who you can feed, put to sleep and play with. If you connect two devices together, the characters can interact with each other. This is essentially a newer version of a Tamagotchi toy. I've seen a few of these at VV since and passed on them. I don't think there is much demand for these, and I am just glad I managed to make my money back on these.

Singer Buttonholer

Bought: $6.77 Sold: $13.17 Fees: $2.21 Profit: $4.19

I picked up four of these vintage Singer sewing machine attachment sets at VV. This one was the most expensive, with the other three being only $3. Unfortunately, this one was also the one that sells for the least. I'm glad one of these finally sold. I knew that these would be long tail sales, but it is nice to see one sell within a few months.

Dungeons & Dragons Lot Update - 5th Book sold

Bought: $18.89 Sold: $71.31 Fees: $11.23 Profit: $41.19

Original Post (November 22nd, 2015)
I picked up nine Dungeons and Dragons books from VV for a total of almost $19. It is just easier for me to keep track of them as one post, so I will update this post as they sell. I won't see a profit until a few have sold, but that too will update with time.
All the books were from "Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition" which is an older version of the game from the early 90s. They are currently on the 5th edition, so the books have some value but most people playing D&D today aren't that interested. This combined with the fact that a lot of the books are online as PDFs, means that these may sit for a while.

Update to Post (February 1st, 2016)
I sold the 2nd book from this lot today, and have made made back my investment and am now $4 ahead. Meaning that when the next 7 books sell, it will all be profit.

Update to Post (March 17, 2016)
I sold the 3rd book from this lot today, and started to make a decent profit on this lot. With still 6 books to sell, this lot will, eventually, turn a very nice profit. It has taken 5 months to sell three books, so I realize it will take time, but it just goes to show that you need to have the right item listed when the right buyer comes along.

Update to Post (April 1, 2016)
I sold one of the cheaper books from this set today, but not only is a sale a sale, but this was my first sale of April, and it was before 8am, so that is a good start to the month.

Update to Post (April 3, 2016)
Another sale today - two within two days. This was the cheapest one I had for sale, but a sale is a sale.

Nov 22, 2015 - 1st sale of The Complete Wizard's Handbook for $6.65.
Feb 1, 2016 - 2nd sale of I, Tyrant for $21.09.
Mar 17, 2016 - 3rd sale of The Complete Druid's Handbook for $26.71
Apr 1, 2016 - 4th sale of Advanced D&D Dungeon Master's Guide for $10.33.
Apr 3, 2016 - 5th sale of The Complete Wizard's Handbook for $6.53

Another Rock Band Dongle

Bought: $2.25 Sold: $24.99 Fees: $2.58 Profit: $20.16

This is another USB Wireless Dongle for the video game Rock Band. Chris got this one as well - he loves buying these. While I understand why he does - they often go for cheap at VV and resell for a good amount online, I am always hesitant about selling them without being able to test them. Fingers crossed this one works.

Two Meccano sales to the same guy

Bought: $6.32 Sold: $40.00 Fees: $4.20 Profit: $29.48
Bought: $4.50 Sold: $13.09 Fees: $2.53 Profit: $6.06

These are two Meccano sets that I had picked up at VV. The one on the bottom is complete new in box (though the box has some wear), and the one on the top is a special edition set, which while used is almost complete. A guy in Nova Scotia made an offer on both, and both offers were reasonable so I accepted. I'll have to unbox both (since I box when I photograph and list to save time) and combine together to try and save him some money on shipping. These have been around for a while, so glad they sold.

It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's a Superman Mug!

Bought: $5.64 Sold: $19.39 Fees: $2.73 Profit: $11.02

This is a Superman mug from 1993 in the same pattern as the Batman one I sold last week. I got them at the same time. Considering both sold within two weeks of the new Batman/Superman movie coming out, I feel like both sales are tied to that movie. It is a pretty nice mug, and if I had more interest in DC I might have kept it, but I'm glad it is off to a good home.
