Canadair CT-114 Tutor Lapel Pin

Sold: $14.99 Fees: $1.86 Profit: $13.13

This is another pin from the large lot of pins I purchased at auction in Kingston. Thankfully Chris has a friend who is in the Airforce who identifies all the pins of airplanes I come across, it makes it a lot easier to sell.

MARX Toy Soldiers

I purchased a lot of vintage military toys. I parted the lot out by manufacturer and lot was all the pieces made by Marx. This lot paid for the entire purchase and made a profit.

Texas Instruments TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator

Bought: $6.32 Sold: $34.99 Fees: $5.38 Profit: $23.29
Chris's 10% Commission: $2.33

I haven't found a graphing calculator in a while. The thrift stores have caught on that these are worth money, and tend to price them high. This is an older model and not as desirable as the later ones, but still an easy sell.

Grandfather's Estate: Pulp Novel

Sold: $99.99 Fees: $11.56 Profit: $88.43
My 50% Commission: $44.21

One of the more expensive pulp novels my grandfather had. This is the novelisation of the movie of the same name which caused some controversy when it was released in the 60's. I don't believe this novel has been republished so it is a bit difficult to find.

Spore Video Game

Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.55 Profit: $8.44

This was one of the video games that I rescued from the second storage locker I bought last year.

January Recap

I sold 41 items.
I spent $161.39 on those items.
I sold those items for $989.58
I paid $142.74 in fees to eBay.
I made a profit of $685.45

I sold 4 things on consignment and made $22.14

From my Flipping Experiment with Chris, we sold 3 items.
We made a profit of $101, meaning $50.05 each.

From my various auction and storage locker pickups:
I made $553.59 profit.

From my lot of comics:
I sold 24 lots with a profit of $713.06, and I've made an overall profit of: $2,356.62

From my grandfather's estate:
I had 11 sales, and my 50% commission was: $229.58
My total profit this month was $2,253.87

This is the third month in a row I've made over $2k! I'm pretty excited about that. It is interesting to see where the profit comes from. This month it was almost equal between items picked up from thirft stores and from auctions. The wedding comic lot really came through with the largest profit, and that was largely from the sale of one of the CGCed comics.
