Vintage Ski Canada Patch

Sale Price: $19.99 Fees: $2.38 Profit: $17.61

I got this patch in the ephemera auction. I bet the Winter Olympics had something to do with this selling.

Three Canada Post Pins

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $9.99 Fees: $1.08 Profit: $4.40

These pins came from a bag I picked up a few weeks ago and finally got around to listing yesterday. These sold within a couple hours and paid for most of the cost of the bag, so not too bad.

Women's Swatch

Bought: $16.94 Sold: $30.00 Fees: $4.42 Profit: $8.64
Chris' 10% Commission: $0.86

It has been a while since a Swatch watch sold, so glad to see one sell. The problem with buying Swatches is that often they are difficult to identify until after you buy them and have time to look them up, meaning you are often buying them blind and hoping they will bring a good return. Chris paid heavily for this one and unfortunately it was not all that valuable, but at least it is no longer sitting in inventory and it brought a small profit.

Porky Pig #21 Comic

Sale Price: $4.99 Fees: $0.82 Profit: $4.17

A Porky Pig comic from 1968 sold. I have a number of these Porky Pig comics listed, I'm hoping they all sell quickly.

Current profit off the comic auction: -$1,671.54

Nintendo Famicom Gradius II

Bought: $52.43 Sold: $60.00 Fees: $7.57 Profit: $0.00

Chris picked up a large lot of Japanese import Famicom games from VV. While expensive, there were over 50 games in there and the potential for profit was great. It turns out, however, that the vast majority of them were bootlegs and unsellable. I'm hoping I can sell the legitimate ones to cover the cost, but I don't expect to make profit on these. It was a risk that didn't pay off, and I'm hopeful I won't be out too much money in the end. This sale helps start to recover the investment.

Schleich TeePee

Bought: $11.85 Sold: $99.99 Fees: $11.84 Profit: $76.30

This is a Schleich TeePee. I found it among the board games at VV. While I had never seen or heard of this set before, I know that Schleich can sell and this was brand new in box. It had a high price, but I looked it up and figured the ROI would be worth it.

Vintage Winnipeg Blue Bombers Glass Beer Stein

Sale Price: $25.00 Fees: $4.25 Profit: $20.75

I got this Winnipeg Blue Bombers glass in the ephemera lot, and figured someone would want it. Not surprisingly it is off to Manitoba. Here's hoping it makes it there in one piece.
