This is the Cookie Monster's Letter Lunch play set from Play-Doh, which was released in the early '00s. This is one of the most valuable Play-Doh sets on the secondary market right now, and I have no idea why. I'm guessing for two reasons: 1) it features Cookie Monster, who is well built and who actually "eats" things put in his mouth, and 2) it features a letter mold for all 26 letters, something Play-Doh has apparently never done before or since. That being said, this set which originally sold for $19.99 can fetch over $200 if New in box. This one was used, and only had 13 of the 26 letters, but despite this still reached almost $100. Not bad for a $6 pick-up at VV. The cookie monster alone can sell up to $50, so it is worth keeping an eye out for. I actually found a second one of these at VV recently that had all 26 letters, which is still for sale but at a much higher price. This was a great sale, and a very nice ROI.
