Chris' 10% Commission: $40.36
Chris was at VV recently and found a number of military models, all of which had opened boxes but were still sealed inside. I looked them up and told him to buy them - I've tentatively sold 3 of them already - and then he sent me a picture of this one and said it was also there, clearly from the same buyer, open box but sealed inside and asked if I wanted this too. I looked it up on eBay and when I saw that reproductions of this model were going for $250 and no one had the original, let alone new in open box, I told him to jump on it. I did some research and it turns out that "Zoids" was a franchise of what started as models released by Tomy in the 1980s and eventually spun off into an anime series. This is the "Iron Kong" figure and was from the first line of Tomy models released in 1983. So, this is one of the first Zoid models in essentially new condition. I figured I would put a high asking price, almost double what any on eBay were going for, and would consider offers. I woke up today to someone having purchased it outright. This is a great sale, and Chris earned his first 10% commission (which he gets on anything for which I make a profit of $100 or more).
