19 Issues of Spider-Man 2099

Bought: $20.00 Sold: $55.00 Fees: $7.34 Profit: $27.66

At the Glebe Garage Sale last year I was looking at some comics that was being sold by some kids to raise money for charity. They had clearly been donated for the sale and they knew nothing about them. Another man came over and started looking through the boxes, and he asked how much if he wanted to buy one of the short boxes of comics (about 110 comics). When the kids said $20 he started grabbing them all. I quickly grabbed the box I was looking through and gave her $20. The guy was angry and said he was trying to buy them all, and I told him too bad and just walked off. I would love to have purchased more of them, but I was happy to at least get one box. It has sat in my library for almost two years but I finally got around to listing some of the comics. The box was filled with Spider-Man comics, which are always good sellers. I've started to list the comics last week, and today a buyer messaged about buying all the Spider-Man 2099 issues. So I sold 19 of the 100+ comics for $55, which easily covered the cost of the entire box and still made a profit. This box will end up making a very nice profit.
