This is the second comic that from the wedding auction pickup that I got CGCed and that has sold. This is the first colour appearance of Hellboy - he had one previous appearance in black and white. This appearance was not in his own series, and was in a series that was not widely read so it makes it rarer. The fact that it got a 9.8 grade helped a lot. This is a mint condition copy of this issue. This is a great price for this, and I'm very happy with it. One of the very few comics from the early 90's that is worth much money. The photo of the lot that this was in didn't actually show this issue, but it showed almost every other issue from this series, so I took a risk and bid. There was not much else in this lot, so had this issue not been there I likely would have had a hard time making my money back. Thankfully the risk paid off! This sale make that lot profitable, bringing my total number of profitable lots up to 21 out of 32. I've also now made over 2K in profit.
