Sold: $24.99 Fees: $4.04 Profit: $20.95
A few months ago I won a lot at an auction in Kingston of two large totes filled with an assortment of random items. They all had price tags on them and the sale was out of a storage locker. My best guess is that it was inventory for someone who sold at a flea market. Among the items was this scrapbook that was a homemade collection of WWF wrestling articles and memorabilia collected in the 1980's and 1990's. By the handwriting and terrible gluing job it was likely a child's collection. I wasn't sure how to price this, and Chris even asked if it would ever sell. I threw up what I thought was a reasonable price, and it sold within a couple hours. I guess I priced it too low. But considering I wasn't sure this would even sell, and that this sale paid for half the entire lot, I'm happy with the sale.
