Considering how generally unpopular the buses are in Ottawa, I have to imagine that this sold to either a bus driver or someone who is a collector of bus collectibles.

Motorcross Action Magazine #1 July 1973

Sold: $74.99 Fees: $8.89 Profit: $66.10

This is the first issue of a Motocross magazine, and apparently is rare. It was part of the lot of random stuff I picked up a few weeks ago at auction. This single sale paid for the entire lot, and on the few things I've already sold I've already doubled my investment.

This is a great vintage game that sells well. This is my second time finding and selling this game. This copy was missing a few of the marbles, but still sold very well.

This came from an auction lot.

Chris' Comics: Space Ghost #1

Sale Price: $49.99 Fees: $9.19 Profit: $40.80

This is vintage comic from 1966 that features the first appearance of Space Ghost. This is from a lot of comics Chris purchased a number of years ago, and that I am helping sell for him. We haven't yet figured out my commission from these sales yet, so this profit is not entirely mine.

Schleich 42034 Oracle

Bought: $7.90 Sold: $49.99 Fees: $6.75 Profit: $35.34

I think this is the toy that I've sold the most copies of, and I don't understand why. It is just a playset of a mystical alter, but I'll take the sales. I have one more to sell too.

Zatanna Special #1 DC Comic

Bought: $0.00 Sold: $4.99 Fees: $1.04 Profit: $3.95

This is a comic from my personal collection. I didn't buy it to keep, it simply came in a random grab bag I picked up at some point. I'd much rather have the money than a comic I have no desire to read.

Apple Professional Development Program Lapel Pin

Bought: $12.40 Sold: $14.99 Fees: $1.86 Profit: $0.73

This pin paid for a number of bags of pins. This is a pin from an Apple program. I couldn't find anything online about it, so posted it for what I thought was a fair price. It sold overnight to one of the lead designers at Apple, and is being shipped to the Apple HQ in California. That leads me to believe it must be a rare pin, and I probably didn't charge enough... Oh, well, at least I can now say I sold something to someone at Apple.

Panasonic RN-302 Handheld Recorder

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $24.99 Fees: $3.80 Profit: $16.68

Tetris Sticker Set

Bought: $0.00 Sold: $2.99 Fees: $0.83 Profit: $2.16

Chris purchased something at VV in a hanging baggie and with it came some items from a Loot Crate box, including this. It was free, so I'll take a few dollars.

Chris's 10% Commission: $6.40

Chris found this Play-Doh set last year at the Glebe garage sale for only $2. Took almost a year to sell, but still sells for a great price.

Grandfather's Estate: Playboy Magazine

Sold: $4.99 Fees: $3.05 Profit: $1.94
My 50% Commission: $0.97

This is a particularly thick and heavy issue, so shipping wasn't cheap, which means the fees on shipping ate most of the profit on this one.

Pair Of Globe Bookends

Sold: $24.99 Fees: $4.43 Profit: $20.56

These bookends were part of the lot of travel souvenirs I purchased a few years ago. I see these all the time at thrift stores and never pick them up because they just aren't that valuable, but when they come as part of a lot I'll get what I can from them. These have been sitting for over a year and finally sold, but then within minutes the buyer asked to cancel the sale, so I relisted them. They then sold again to an actual buyer within an hour! I guess he was looking at new listings and found it.

Peggy's Cove Lapel Pin

This pin is from the lot of pins I purchased at the Kingston auction.

Cabinet Minister Board Game

Bought: $4.51 Sold: $49.99 Fees: $6.82 Profit: $38.66
Chris's 10% Commission: $3.87

This is a Canadian board game from the 1980's that is a political satire on Canadian politics. This board game was recently featured on a skit on This Hour has 22 Minutes, which is what likely led to the sale.

Sale Price: $9.98 Fees: $2.72 Profit: $7.26

Two more Disney pins sold. Nothing too exciting.

Current profit off the comic auction: $2,966.88

Sale Price: $19.98 Fees: $4.64 Profit: $15.34
My 30% Commission: $4.60

Someone bought both these Christmas-themed McDonald's pins.

Grandfather's Estate: DVD Box Set

Sold: $49.99 Fees: $8.65 Profit: $41.34
My 50% Commission: $20.67

This sold pretty quickly once I got it listed. Nice to make a bit of profit off DVDs, as much DVDs have lost all value.
