Dungeons & Dragon Book

Sale Price: $34.99 Fees: $4.04
Overall Lot: Bought: $146.89  Profit to date: -$115.94

I was at VV last week and they had a large stack of Dungeons & Dragons books and magazines in the display case. I looked at them and they were priced individually for about $250 before tax. I knew they would all sell, and that some were more valuable than others, and I was trying to decide if I should get them all or just ones I knew would sell for a lot (like this one) and I decided to ask if they could give me a deal if I bought them all. Normally I would never ask at VV for a deal. Other places for sure, but VV prices are set and they really don't like haggling (from what I've seen), but I figured I'd ask. The woman behind the counter was super nice, and she called the manager who "did some math" and said I could have them for $135 + tax which I quickly accepted. I've listed all of them now - spent this past Sunday morning doing that - and if all the books sell for my asking I'll clear $500, so not a bad haul. This is the first to sell, and sold in two days of me listing it so that is nice.
