Easy Come... Easy Go...

Loss to Profits: $136.19
Cost to me: $45.10

So the Starbucks I sold a few weeks ago for $150 arrived broken... I'm heartbroken. I thought I packed it really well, but I guess not. In the future, all fragile items are being double-boxed. So, the buyer requested a refund, and so I have to pay back his purchase price, but also his shipping costs ($30). I'm almost out my initial purchase price ($2.25) along with the fees from the sale ($11). So overall, instead of making $150 I'm out of pocket $45.

I'll still keep an eye out for these mugs, definitely worth buying to flip, I just need to package them better. It's a frustrating lesson, but all I can do is learn from it and move on.
