Sold for: $50.00 Fees: $17.36
The last sale of the month was this poster around 11:00 pm on the 30th. I had this listed for $40, and received an offer of $50 plus free shipping. Shipping was estimated at $15, and I ended up paying $11 after my eBay discount, so I really didn't accept an offer much below what I was asking. The reasons the fees are so high is that they include the cost of shipping. This was a slow month for the storage locker contents, but we flipped one of everything - figure, poster and comic.
The Numbers:
Initial Cost: $2,000
Number of items sold in June: 4
Number of items sold overall: 98
Gross Profit for June: $104.97
Fees to eBay: $30.01
Net Profit for June: $74.96
Net Overall Profit: $2935.71
Chris and I have recouped our initial investment, and each made a profit of $1467.85
Another Marvel poster sold. This was another one that was pretty badly creased from being squished while rolled up, but it sold, so hopefully the buyer isn't unhappy with it. We actually had two copies of this poster, so still one for sale.
June 3rd - Marvel Poster
Sold for: $39.99 Fees: $7.12
Sold for: $4.99 Fees: $1.63
This is another comic from the lot. He had issues 1-3, and then a second copy of #3 for some reason. We have the three issues listed together, but the sole issue #3 sold first. Not a huge profit, but again, anything we can get out of this lot is just gravy.
June 18th - DC Direct Tomorrow Woman
Sold for: $9.99 Fees: $3.90
This is the cheapest figure we had for sale, but it's still money in the bank, and thankfully there were not a lot this cheap.
